objectives and outcomes Upon completion of this course, a student:

30.00% Homework policy Homework for this course will consists or reading assignments, problem sets and assembly language development assignments. Homework will be assigned and given almost every week. You are required to do all homework. All homework will be due at the beginning of class on the instructors desk. Each homework set will age 10% per working day late (i.e. Monday through Friday). This means that the maximum grade possible decreases at 10% per day until the homework assignment is worth zero after ten days unless a prior arrangement with the instructor has been made. ExamsTwo Exams during the semster and Final exam will be given. The Final Exam will be Comprehensive, i.e. cover everything we have done during the semester. QuizzesQuizzes will be given at the beginning or at the end of the class and cover either homework reading assignments or in-class material. Quizzes (5% of the grade) will be used to determine attendance (5% of the grade). Academic integrityYou are encouraged to consult the instructor if you have any questions on homework or exams. The homework and exams are expected to be individual work, completed without any “help” of your classmates. Handing in work that was jointly prepared and/or copied will be considered plagiarism and will be handled according to the University regulations. Class distractions Turn cell phones, pagers, etc. off during the class! |
